not like it matters in world pvp but I'd go 8 shaman 2 pally instead of 10 shaman, concentration aura is just too good for that ...

Agreed at least 1 Paladin (and 2 may be better).

Above I just kept it all the same class because the theme seemed to be around 10x of the same class discussion.

In reality better than ambushing with 10 Night Elf Hunters with prowling cats would be to swap in at least 1 druid/Rogue with mobile stealth so you could hunt around for other stealthies and/or move around to scout around the area. Also having a ShadowMelded Priest that stays stationary/uninvolved would be good to help with rezzing if/when you lose one or more hunters (or you could have a rezzer logged out and just login to rez). Jumper cables on the Hunters are also an option but it can be expensive to level engineering on all the alts and if you are fighting a rogue pair/trio/etc you don't really want your Hunters leaving stealth to try to rez a downed hunter as they will be able to see where you restealth to. A shadowmelded Priest or login rezzer would be better in that scenario.

regrading honor farm, in world pvp your best shot is in front of karazhan followed by ssc entrance, those places will always be crowded and no flightmounts

I remember haala being unpopular, even in early stages as its crap rewards, so yeah you just gotta farm the pve groups at summon stones

2 paly 8 shamans, sounds great! but that has to wait. I'm thinking 2 priests 8 mages like I mentioned is also a
power full comp. (Up close) Good example: I was able to kill 1x priest 7 mages boxer from far distance few times,
Time to open, but ones I get jumped- game over for me. but chain ltg gives me smiles with chain heals
