EVGA is the first manufacturer to publicly come clean about this since the topic gained traction, last night, after the Igor's Lab article.

A moderator of the nVidia sub-reddit was also compiling a list of GPUs and their capacitor configurations:

EDIT: I'll add that I always hate being an early adopter of brand new tech because of situations such as this, but I felt that I had to buy into this generation for where I'm taking my multiboxing setup moving into Shadowlands. A buddy (Crum1515 from this forum) and I each grabbed a 3090 from the first set of sales, direct from EVGA, on the morning of the 24th—his card arrived today and shows the 2+4 MLCC/PSOCAP configuration, and he's been using it (and overclocking it) without any issues so far. My card doesn't get here until next week, but after Jacob addressed the issue (seemingly related only to 3080s), and the fact that nVidia is also using a 2+4 configuration on their FE design, I'm feeling just fine about my purchase.
Lucky! I have a micro center near by and got up at 3am to go get in line for one of the 12 3090s. There were 15 tents in line lol. So I just bought the whole PC with 3090 FTW3 ..this news about crashes had me worried. I feel better now. Let us know how things go with yours!
