Multiboxing PvP is all about burst damage. By the time your DoT's tick enough to do a considerable amount of damage half of your characters will be dead if you're fighting an equal number of more of competent players.

In PvE you have no AoE damage and you'll have to fill your bags with water to clear dungeons since you'll be OOM every pull. VE Has a 10 second cooldown so on packs of 3-5 you'll probably only be able to cast VE on 1-2 mobs before they die.

Warlocks are superior in every way IMO. They take less damage, have solid tank pets and effectively unlimited mana. They can also switch between DoT's and heavy burst damage easily.
my experience with priests have been good, mind blast hits hard and flay and dots can be applied quickly. aoe fear keeps melee off you round robin, and the healing blows locks away. It’s heavily down to gear and stat priorities .

locks are good too but have different mechanics.

priests are great in my opinion, however only issue I have with them from experience would be lack of armor when wards on cd. This opens a can of worms in certain situations. possibly clever cast sequences could keep ample healing.

no class is perfect but priests and locks I found good choice for fun!
