    Default 5x Spriest (PPPPP)

Came across a thread awhile back and got me motivated to try it. Here is the link of what was said in the thread and I was wondering if anyone has anymore information on the team? I'm currently level 45 with 5x Spriests and I'm trying to plan talents for the final push.

Basically 10-40 all shadow until I got shadowform. Now at level 45 I haven't used any talents but was planning on doing something like this:

    https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-c...QgmRs1CDf0AE2a

I've never playing a Spriest, so i'm hoping someone with more experience could chime in on suggestions for talents on a 5 man team wanted to clear end-game dungeons etc. Basically I think I have the talents figure out but at level 60 I have one point left over and not sure where to use it so I picked Spirit Tap.

    Thanks,
    LK

I'm in the same boat, but my spriest team is only 32 so far
(already had a 60 priest, so subtituting the 5th priest with level appro mage, or using the 60 priest with Smite/Holy Nova spam to boost in dungeons)

How does it handle post 40?

    Edit:
I'd probably do something like https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-c...02405103301251 for end-game dungeons myself. Alternatively go for Silence, with a round robin macro set up.

Don't really need to try it to see how it would perform. It would be decent in small scale PvP and bad in large scale PvP and PvE.

Multiboxing PvP is all about burst damage. By the time your DoT's tick enough to do a considerable amount of damage half of your characters will be dead if you're fighting an equal number of more of competent players.

In PvE you have no AoE damage and you'll have to fill your bags with water to clear dungeons since you'll be OOM every pull. VE Has a 10 second cooldown so on packs of 3-5 you'll probably only be able to cast VE on 1-2 mobs before they die.

Warlocks are superior in every way IMO. They take less damage, have solid tank pets and effectively unlimited mana. They can also switch between DoT's and heavy burst damage easily.

I had 5x SPriests on Magtheridon. I can confirm this is correct.

my experience with priests have been good, mind blast hits hard and flay and dots can be applied quickly. aoe fear keeps melee off you round robin, and the healing blows locks away. It’s heavily down to gear and stat priorities .

locks are good too but have different mechanics.

priests are great in my opinion, however only issue I have with them from experience would be lack of armor when wards on cd. This opens a can of worms in certain situations. possibly clever cast sequences could keep ample healing.

no class is perfect but priests and locks I found good choice for fun!

can you share your experiences with targeting in PvP? I have hard time with facing targets say, when scattered

This quest item will take up your ranged weapon slot but you can use it to auto-face any target.

I remember others mentioning this back around/before launch and was going to also recommend it but I have it on my Paladin and tested it last week and it doesn't seem to work anymore. Every mob I tried to target around StormWind gave me 'Invalid Target' Maybe I progressed the quest too far allowing me to keep it but it no longer work?

Haven't tested it in Classic myself but I know it worked from vanilla right through to Cataclysm.

Possibly another one of those "#NoChanges" changes.
