Thread: Fun 3-Man Team?

  1. #1

    Default Fun 3-Man Team?

So, I've decided to Triple box in Shadowlands, but I'd like to try a fun new team. I normally drive from the healer, and I'd like to get more into melee. What would be a fun combo? Priest, warrior, warrior? Priest, paladin, monk? Shaman, dk, warrior? Druid, druid, monk?

And I'm quite experienced with IWT, so movement won't be an issue. I just want the best team possible with a ranged healer main.

    Any thoughts?

Depending on why your limiting yourself to 3 I guess. But if your just doing a little PvP and open world PvE, i would pick druids and or rogs for stealth!

BUT! The most fun 3 man team is the one that adds two more and becomes 5 man! I have tried to do just 3 man, but then I always regret it when i level up less than 5 and end up having the play catch up!
Currently 5 Boxing 5 Protection Paladins on Whisperwind Alliance
The Power of Five!!! ( short video )

I generally don't have the patience or the skill to multi-box dungeons (too much standing in fire in recent dungeons), so having a five-man teams seems like a bit of overkill for open world content. But stealth is something to definitely consider. Though I'm terrible at boxing rogues. lol

This is subjective. If you dont enjoy dungeons/mythic's then 5 doesnt make any sense. I certainly dont enjoy them, learning the mechanics/affixes is just not the challenge I want to spend my time on. If I want the gear, I will just buy a 15 boost. Easy peasy, done in 30 mins instead of hours upon hours of learning mechanics and getting frustrated or burning out.

    Disc + 2 BM
Pally + 2 DK (best melee 3's comp for boxing imo)
HolyPriest + 2 DK (good thing about this one is BRez's and Spirit of Redemption)
    RSham + 2 Enhance
    MW + 2 DH
Rdruid + 2 Feral (very high skill ceiling, and very squishy, but so so fun)

If Melee is the theme it is hard to argue with 2DKs with a Paladin Healer since Paladins are now melee healers...

That being said 2DK BattleRez's after Spirit of Redemption finishes would be pretty darn resilient also.
