I have a quick question about mount farming that is multiboxing adjacent.

If I am farming for a mount in old raids, is there a better or worse chance for a mount to drop if I run it solo as opposed to running it with my multiboxed tunes? i.e....will I have a different chance for a mount to drop if I run the raid 5 times with different characters opposed to boxing all 5 characters in the same instance run?

    Thanks!
The possible boss loot (for that reset) is supposedly decided the moment you enter a raid.

If you enter with 5 characters in the same party/raid, you get 1 chance/shot at a mount drop.
If you run the raid 5 times solo (different instances = you get 5 chances/shots at a mount drop).

    Also: for rares/world bosses:
if you run with other battlenet accounts that already have the mount... then, if one of them gets it, they can trade it to others that doesnt have it (assuming ofcourse they were in the same party/raid and was eligable for the loot). This is handy to know, as if you want to "secure" a possible drop... only run with outsiders / your other battlenet accounts that have the mount already.. )

Ofcourse, worst case scenario, if a mount drops for f.ex your battlenet account nr 3 (and it cant trade, as it hasnt learned that mount earlier), you can character transfere that character (dont learn the mount though...) to the battlenet account you want the mount on... then learn it there after the transfere completed.
