No lag? Thats unrealistic on this old game. The more people online, the more lag. There will be lag and low fps at times, no matter what. Imagine during the start of shadowlands etc.

And you will need atleast 64gb ram with 10.

The 750w psu from corsair is decent.

    Use only m.2 or ssds.
The 3,5 inch WD blue harddrive you mentioned = its an ok hardrive to use as extra backup, for pictures etc etc, but regardless, if you got anything important, then also use external backups and possibly cloudbased backups. Do not use this drive for gaming.

You can fidle with f.ex pcpartpicker.com site to find compatible hardware.

I just use whatever isboxer sets the settings at when I create a window layout.

Alright (assuming you were somewhat happy playing 5 on your old pc): id suggest getting 64 gb of RAM + if possible, the amd 3950x (allows for more overhead and more resources to the OS too, though if budget doesnt allow, get the 3900x).

Remember to double check the home page for the motherboard: to locate which ram is compatible with it.. before you buy.

Just be aware that you need to get a second battlenet account, if you want to play 10, as the max you can add to 1 battlenet account is 8 wow games.
So ye, prepare to get "pathfinder, mounts etc etc one more time.." if you want to play more than 8 accounts. ...unless you want to use the 10 to do other stuff.. and dont care about pathfinder etc etc, then yes, its not something you need to worry about.

The next step-up would be the threadripper 24 core etc, but then we are talking quite a bit of more money.
