I hit 70 and got reported

Woot! i hit 70 with my team and was sitting around in org showing off formations and talkin and stuff and some team of S3 epiced out morons showed up and started tearing through peeps, until they hit the bank (this is where i was). So i hit my formation key and ran in with my pally and started focus firing and frying them one by one and then we chased them outside and apparently one of them had a horde toon cause he jumped on it and said i had been reported for botting, it was a lvl 1 toon.

Then i get a message, like a hour later from a GM saying their had been reports of me botting and we chatted for a bit about what i was doing and how i was doing it, and he said as long as i had complete control over my toons i was good to go, so i showed the GM the toons were under my control by moving them all independently (sp) and he was like, have fun no problem.

it was nice to finally talk to a GM, he also said in the future if i start a new team on a new server to make a ticket just to let the GMs know that i'm mutliboxing so they can discuss it with me and put me on some kind of list so when they get reports about me they will know what's going on. Just thought i'de pass that along.

all in all a good experience, got to fry some alliance and hear them QQ about it and finally talked to a GM.

as for the GM suggesting we "report in" when we roll on a new server... that's pretty nice.

Indeed. Whenever I speak with someone that just doesn't get the point, I ask them to have the GM talk to me when they write the ticket. I have yet to hear back from a GM, but you can bet I'm asking questions and screenshotting the answers. When / If I speak to a GM, I will ask about letting them know about the teams we run. This could add an interesting dimension to our screenshots library.

I usually send people to the FAQ Vyndree did, short URL so easy to post: www.v-boxing.net/faq , which includes some blue responses.

I actually opened a ticket to do just this, and the GM I spoke to was confused. Told me there was no need for me to tell them I am a multiboxer, because there is no "list".

I had some guy named "Noobkiller" bitching at me yesterday, a level 1 twinked out the ass in the crossroads (gear was all enchanted, fiery weapon, etc) and he was dueling everything with a pulse. Once I got off the bird he dueled me, Automaton smartly declined (I love wuss mode, cuz if I wanted pvp, I'd do it on a pvp server or a BG) and he started spamming reported to general chat and calling me a bot.

After a few minutes most the folks in general were just laughing, so I started arguing with myself about if it was worth while to stay in barrens chat or not, seems half my warlocks like it, the other half dont, and the priest is just too lazy to leave.
