Dungeons are generally horrible to multibox.

If you're willing to gather, at this point you might get more value out of doing some old world gathering.

Arcane crystals have some decent values, I believe ghost mushrooms are another one that sells quite nicely.

Sometimes you have to figure out things by yourself. Sometimes people don't want their secrets becoming well known to the point that they can't use it themselves anymore. Life is hard. Look at herbing, it's overrun and terrible gold now. Hardly anyone was herbing at launch compared to now. Same with every farm spot made known. And when the bots get a hold of the knowledge, it's done.

If i were to do it all again. I would have gathered herbs for a few weeks at launch. Those who did made millions! I was in a rush to level a few teams. For shadowlands i will try gathering, but who knows how it will be this time. Another thing i should have done is level all my teams to max for WQs. Not only are there the 2k gold emissary quest now and then, once you hit exalted, you get the bonus chest that contain 3-5k gold every now and then. Not to mention being able to disenchant/break down the items you get. Several teams doing WQs everyday would be great money. The only money i make now is from salvaged/DEd goods.. the gold from WQs and emissaries. Anyway, even with my lack of focus for gaining gold, i rarely have less than one million in the guild bank.
Currently 5 Boxing 5 Protection Paladins on Whisperwind Alliance
The Power of Five!!! ( short video )

Sure did, made 20 million with ease at the start lol
Come Shadowlands I will be doing opposite, Not farming, but levelling + gearing.
But I have enough gold for now so that's probably why I am not keen to making any via farming in new xpac so soon

Farm at the start or just play the AH. Both are tedious, but one of them yields xp.

They took away gold emissaries, but the 100% rep boost is back for September so if you farm Rep and emissaries it will be much easier to cap rep and get a few Paragon chests for 5k each per character.

Hyperspawn farming or just AH sniping are probably the two most lucrative ways to make gold. Make sure you also have a Netflix subscription as you're going to be mad with boredom.

Wouldnt time be better spent earning more money in real life? I buy 1 year subs on ebay for $100 which is $8/month. I have even purchased other players battle.net balance for 50% of value(you can gift it). I just dont understand the argument for grinding for hours on end just to get free sub time.

With that said, I love the players who grind/farm/herb for hours everyday to pay for their subs. It ensures a good supply of tokens so I dont have to waste my precious time farming for gold. So for that I thank you.

Sure it is - But maybe not everyone has the luxury of being able to spend reallife money on Wow, or take extra hours. Or they want to use there reallife money on reallife stuff and use gold to play for free.

And we are still in a pandemic where a lot of people lives have been changed.

I can pay my 9 account with a AH account and 1 hour daylig farming, so I pay with gold.

I get it. Whatever the reason or rational, I am thankful players are willing to spend their time farming for my gold.

Its actually ingenious by Blizzard. They have created a volunteer army of employees, paying them slave labor and they think they are getting something for free. They even charge a buyer premium for their product.
