    Default dual boxing and skinning

Just getting into multiboxing and have a quick question about skinning on both characters being run at once. Doing a bit of roaming in Legion I thought I would get my monk trained up in skinning, but after a few attempts it seems only the character to loot the mob first gets to skin it. I thought I could skin one mob twice with both druid and monk but is that not the case?

That's correct: only one character may skin a corpse so there is no reason to have skinning on more than one character per team.

In his case scenario, then yes, he only need one skinner.

Though, as an example, way back i was farming goats in a wide area. The amount of skins was unbelievable, so in order to get everything i had to stagger both looting (lootarang) and the use of the mother skinning knife (skins a nearby mob within 20 yards). All my characters had skinning and the mother knife. Sadly they didnt make a bfa variant of the mother knife.

A situation could also arise if you farm mobs in different locations, in different groups, ungrouped, standing far apart etc, where each would need to have skinning.
