How to involve more people in multiboxing?

I do think one of the biggest thing multiboxers can do to help the image problem is to join a guild - preferably someone with an actual name on the server (although I know that only really applies to Classic). But playing and interacting with others quickly gets them on your side - even defending you. We need friends and allies helping out.

Its become a meme that any collection of 3 mages and a priest in Stratholme (especially the unguilded ones) must be a bot. I probably get reported every time I run and out of there (and all my chars in a guild). But if anyone ever says something on my server's discord or to one of my guild officers, I know they have my back - many people know me now.

I think if we want to win any sort of PR battle, we have to get to the point where we have other, non-multiboxers, amplifying our message. If its an 'us' vs 'them', we'll loose every time - there's just not that many of us. But when 'they' are actively supporting 'us' against others who just don't know any better then we have a chance.

bot don’t need follow to bot, the argument that in 2020 follow is disabled because of bots is just not real

A follow bot is less complex to make - I don´t see them bringing back af part of a problem, they got rid of. So it´s still real in 2020.

And they are not doing a great job right now - Just take your Druid to Dreamgrove and se them portal in and out all day.

There are a ton of prejudices against us. I occasionally watch streamers as like Asmongold, and he likes to use Multiboxers as scapegoats. Others like to make us responsible for large login queues, while i cannot really believe that multiboxers have such large impact. We are not many nowadays.

Well, the reality is quite the opposite.

Multi gathering is still allowed (via alt-tab), where niche hobby is not...
