    Default ground-target AOE question

I am having issues trying to create a ground-target AOE without using repeater. It seems that I cannot get my extra mouse buttons(WoW MMO mouse) to be recognized even with the suggestions that should make it work. I was wondering if there was some kind of back door to make it work such as using a macro/spell instead of a key click?

You can use either of two parameter in a macro to semi-auto cast ground target spells.

    /cast [@player] Flamestrike
... will cast it centered on the mage.

    /cast [@cursor] Flamestrike
... willst cast it centered, wherever the mouse cursor is currently.

There's a third option that can be realised with ISBoxer to actually place it where you want, explained here:

Is there a way to bind it to an action bar number instead of a key click or macro?

Default ISboxer AOE ground targeting mouse bind key click problem

It seems as if mouse buttons beyond mouse button 5 are not recognized even though I am using drivers and software for my mouse as talked about with this problem listed here:
    https://isboxer.com/wiki/FAQ#Why_are...not_working.3F

Anyone have any ideas or troubleshooting as of how to get ISboxer to recognize my mouse buttons beyond mouse button 5?

Is the mouse software running as adminstrator?

Is the mouse software sending those mouse keys natively, or have you set up some translations in that software already?

Also run the testing script https://isboxer.com/wiki/Input:Testing_Buttons

ISBoxer supports very many devices, what is your device model? If it really isn't supported you can get the device added by following instructions here https://isboxer.com/wiki/Input:Testing_Buttons

It does state that the buttons are reporting for down and up positions. Very interesting find. Is there a path I can take from here in order to force it to work somehow?

My mouse model is steelseries world of warcraft cataclysm MMO mouse model 62100. I do set the software to run as administrator and it wont work either. I enable the mouse in-game with a console command in order or the game to get it to work. I have been doing some research and someone on a WoW forum said that if I install steel series engine that it wont work anymore for some reason and I do because I use different mice from steel series.. I have also tested it out on 2 different operating systems but I used steel series engine on that computer as well.

On this page https://isboxer.com/wiki/Supported_Input_Devices suggests that your World of Warcraft Cataclysm Mouse is fully supported. And if you are getting results from buttontest.iss then maybe the Steelseries Engine is interfering somehow, so you might want to try disabling it.

Also note that in this post https://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=675 it says:
    * The Hotkey auto-detection box in ISBoxer does not automatically recognize natively supported buttons. You will need to manually select the button from the drop-down box.

I cannot seem to disable the engine even if I uninstall the driver at this time. Something may be saved somewhere in my system. Do I use the editor for the "drop down box"? I messed around with it earlier and was a little confused.

    Try something simple

    https://isboxer.com/wiki/Mapped_Key
Create a new mapped key, name it 'everyone jump'. Where it says Hotkey open that and choose G5 from the drop down.

    https://isboxer.com/wiki/Keystroke_Action
Then in step 1, make a new keystroke action to send 'space' with target 'all w/ current'

Save | Export | Load team... confirm all toons jump when you press G5

Then change hotkey selection to G6 | Save | Export ... check if now G6 makes them jump
