Default Mac users how to set preference on clonekey and maximizer

Every time i log onto the game i have to manually add the wow clients into clonekey. I see on the preferences it looks like there is a way to add something that will stay so whenever it is qued up clonekey adds it if clonekey is running. How do i set it up. Adding everything manually every time is a drag. Any help?

Also, i don't see a maximizer function for clonekey... how do you guys set your screens? Spaces with leopard?

    Thanks,

I've not been able to get the auto-add feature to work at all, nor have I had any luck with the 'move window up' feature. Are you running Leopard? The google code page for CloneKeys does only say tested with 10.4. Maybe something broke with 10.5.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe i will have to do it manually when i log on then. I am not on leopard yet and that brings me to my next question. How do you set your screen?!!

How do you get a "maximizer" like function to work? Do you use pages? Do you use another program?

Having to switch between the window the way i have it set now is a pain. I don't have pages or any maximizer function. I am just flipping between the windows.

    thanks

    Two screens

Main in windowed full screen mode, four secondary windows on other screen each at 960x600. They're nice and snug side to side, but top to bottom they overlap from the window header bars.

Not sure how I'd do it if my screens were less than 1920x1200 res. Without any maximizer-like program, the smallest I can make any windows is 800x600.

    Nice

just to make sure i am understanding your set up. you are using the mac os and are not running windows on your mac computer. you are not using maximizer or a like program, probably because there isn't one for a mac, so you just use two screens and manually adjust the size of the screens for the other four alts on the second screen. True?

What are the specs on the mac you are using?

How do you work "looting"? I am looking into macros to have the alts loot something while staying on my mains screen. Maybe a macro for looting specifying what party number you want to loot?

    thanks

Correct, I am not running windows on the mac hardware. Each wow instance has its own subfolder under the main applications folder, they all link back to one data folder, but keep their own settings and such. I set the resolution in the WTF/Config.wtf file. The only additional software I run is CloneKeys. This all runs on a mac pro with the nvidia 8800gt, ram bumped up to 10gb.

As for looting, I set to free for all and just loot everything with main toon. If there are quest drops or BoPs I want for the others, I just click over to whichever window. I don't think there are macro options for looting. I think that requires the mouse.

ya you have to set the clonekey prefs the auto-add any window named "World of Warcraft". start clonekey first, then open all your wow apps..they shoud add themselves

    also..

all about expose feature in a mac for me. I can keep all my windows full screen and use the expose hotkey to auto tile em. ... just click the window i need, works awesome..all on one screen

and the alt tab, i actually changed the icon on each instance of wow in photoshop(if your curious ask) to have bright red numbers on each one so i can easily alt-tab thru them and know exactly which character im on.

and forgive if mistaken, but you dont have to make a whole new wow folder for each app.. just duplicate to wow.app as many times as ya need..saves from having to put addons in multiple places.
