Sidenote, if you really are trying to multibox on a 4 core/8threads, on 4k and max settings, then 2 accounts.....i wouldnt play more than that. At 4k, i would atleast had 2 cores / 2 threads per game, ideally 4 cores/4threads per game.

I have no immidiate plans to go more than 2 accounts, but you never know how deep I get into this. I only did this to cut down my daily times in half, which is working out very good. But here I am finding myself doing more.

Interesting results from last nights gaming session. When I run either account solo, it doesnt go over 3gb. When I run 2 accounts, it touches 4gb when raiding. It only gets that high when I raid. But when I do, it gets to 14.9gb and FPS drops. Memory will be here Friday. I'll post results

I went from 2x8gb of 2400 cas 15 to 4x8gb of cas 16 3200

Night and day difference so far. I can raid on both clients with 0 noticeable FPS drop. Also, loading times seem to be faster with two clients open. Over all system performance is much snappier and smoother. I guess I was just running out of memory. With everything open and raiding, I'm just touching 16gb of used memory. Seems like I didn't need much more, but what I had was not enough.

that's good to hear. i bet it feels soo much better. I get lag and stutter when joining raids on world bosses. It's soo annoying, i often miss out on the boss because of it. Pretty sure it's capping my RAM with all of the people phasing in and all of their spells going off at once as i load in. I need to upgrade.

I'm in classic and generally stay well under my 16GB memory. But for whatever reason Wowhead can use a ton of memory. Any time I leave a dozen wowhead tabs open I'll feel it in game, then check and sure enough I'm right at the memory cap. How does a webpage even take 1GB of RAM when I have add block installed and its in the background - is it still loading everything and just not displaying it? For just about every other website I could have 100 tabs open and not worry about it.

Leave wowhead open with an ad blocker and look at all the ads blocked. That counter goes up crazy, maybe it's related to the crazy out of control memory usage.
