Archeology- Is it boxer friendly?

I've never done archeology, i dont know how it works. I'm curious what mechanics are multiboxer friendly and if anyone has some insight on maxing it with a 5man team.

It isn't multiboxer-friendly, at all, since either the dig sites and/or dig locations are random for each character.

Fastest way to get this is by turning in restored artifacts.. got mine first time handing all mine in.

any add on you guys use for archeology?
trying to lv archeology for the guild archivement and its painfully slow

All the really good addons were killed by Blizz shortly after they came out. One of few times that Blizz intentially broke an addon because it gave too much of an advantage. Then 8.x killed a few more of the older addons when a lot of the mapping changes came out.

With BFA (before I made the full jump to Classic) I just kept the WoWGatheringNodes and Gathermate so I could see possible Archology nodes as that was enough.

i am relying on the gathermate data for now. i thought fishing was slow until i saw mirai's videofx fishing and it become fun for me..
then came archeology.. i wonder how to quickly get to 600

I maxed this out on a solo character, it was rough. I think I did it in 2 or 3 seasons of a TV show, so it wasn't too bad. Wouldn't multibox it though unless there's some feature in the future that allows sharing of the dig sites like quest drops from mob where everyone's guaranteed to get one.

My overly generic advice is if there's a reward you want, go farm those dig sites to level up. Even if you have to go clear other dig sites for artifacts you don't care about just push site respawns.
