Default Multiple Sheep control WMMMMP team

Hi all i am stumbling around and read some posts and still cant get this right

I play either 5 or 6 characters depending if the wife is playing or not.
My setup is Warrior 3/4 Mages and a priest

I am wanting to get better cc organised and i have use the target last target successfully. I would like to be able to control more on the fly and also the ability to resheep if needed.

From what i have read i think this is what i am after.
Warrior clicks on target 1 and presses F1 this has the first mage acquire this target and raid mark it so i know that mage 1 has this target.
Warrior clicks on target 2 and presses F2 this has the first mage acquire this target and raid mark it so i know that mage 2 has this target.
Warrior clicks on target 3 and presses F3 this has the first mage acquire this target and raid mark it so i know that mage 3 has this target.
Warrior clicks on target 4 and presses F4 this has the first mage acquire this target and raid mark it so i know that mage 4 has this target.
Warrior clicks on target 5 and presses F5 this has the priest acquire this target and raid mark it so i know that the priest has this target.

Then if I press F6 all the sheeps and shackle (if appropriate) all fire off at same time.

Tank rushes in and single dps down, now should a sheep break i would target with the warrior again and spam the appropriate sheep button to re sheep the target.

Is this possible or is there a better way, i have tried on the advanced setup videos but tbh it is going a bit over my head.

Now all this being said and done i can go in an AOE everything, but this is a dps race v Mana sometimes i win sometimes i dont, i know with better gear this will be a no brainer but the ability to micro the CC would be fantastic.

Here are some screenshots of what i have tried so far

All i have achieved is the raid markers going up relevant to each key press but no holding on the target when i press the next F key

Too much theory in this thread and overly complex.
    Keep it simple.

The following is best practice for classic. Comfy and easy to use.

Once setup you will be able to sheep from any character.
One of the mages will assist the current controlled toon + cast sheep. The key will round robin through all toons you setup in step 3.
Easy to use pre combat and on the fly during combat; you will never run into a situation where you want your mages to cast it at the same time on different targets - and I'm doing this since launch now.

    1. Create a macro set and assign it to the 4 mages.

    2. Create a Polymorph macro inside the new macro set.

    3. Create an Action Target Group (ATG) and add the mages.

    4. Create the hotkey/adjust your existing sheep hotkey to the following.

Action 1: KeyMap Action => Do Mapped Key Action => ISB42 - Base Hotkeys => Assist Me

    [x] Round Robin
Target: OTHERS in the ATG created in step 3

Action 2: Keystroke Action => Named WoW Macro Action => Mage Macro Set => Sheep
    [x] Round Robin
Target: ALL OF the ATG created in step 3

I'm using manual assist on all my teams, though for CC (root, silence, stuns, sheep etc.) I'm adding auto-assist for comfy and quicker reaction times.
