Blank boxes, client never loads when using Window Layouts

Having issue when using Window Layouts. When I setup for the first time, and chose a layout, the clients will never launch into those layouts as expected. It appears it tries to do so, and resizes to fit the space, but I'm left with black/white box in it's place and can never interact.

If I delete the layout, or chose none, the clients load in normal windows, are recognized appropriately and I can begin dual boxing.

I'm running on a Gaming Laptop, and it has no issue keeping up with the two clients, I just can't launch using the layouts.

Any ideas?

Appears it may have something to do with DX, I kept playing with it and on DX 11 Legacy the layouts load...

what was your final solution here ?

I'm trying to 5box on a laptop as well - handles classis perfectly but on retail I need to choose DX11 legacy and it will only load 4 out of the 5 screens. the 5th is always black and i can't interact with it at all.
