I'm really digging the new n52te. The buttons are easier to press, more like the original n50, and the thumb button(orange on the n52) is actually usable. The hat on the dpad is useless but it pops right off so that the dpad works like it does on the n52. The software is really terrible compared to the old software, but that's because it was designed by Razer who are notorious for crap software. But as long as you are just mapping keys and not writing complex hardware macros, the software does the job. It has one less shift state, but I didn't use more than two shift states anyway so that was no big deal for me. Picked mine up at Best Buy for $59 which was cheaper than I could find it online. Overall, I think it's a good upgrade for most n52 users and am glad I picked one up despite the negative reviews.
