RoundRobin Assisting
EDIT:
Even though I solved this myself I stumbled upon MiRai's solution here today

Thread can be closed as far as I'm concerned!
Hello!
So I watched quite a bit of Mirai's awesome videos and was able to set up a decent (relative to what I started with) profile for my Classic 5-man team - WMMLP.
I was able to set up RR Frost Novas for the mages.
Next up was sheeping, so I made a 'Sheep' Mapped Key in Combat Hotkeys - bound it to Shift-G,
action is Do Sheep in Virtual Combat ->Mage;
Made a new Mapped Key in the Mage's Fire spec Key Map 'Sheep' - which just sends the 'A" key to 'Window current'
It works and both the mages sheep the target.
Then, since I don't want to sheep the same target with both my mages, I wanted to set up a RR assist for only the mages (which I put in a separate action group), so I could make each mage target a separate mob and then when I Shift-G, they'd sheep their own respective targets.
The RoundRobin assist part eludes me though, I've tried a couple of things but am obviously missing something - understanding where to make the called Key Map target only the mages to assist the current active slot.
Any hints?

Reason: Figured it out, also found MiRai's solution

Alright, figured it out!
Searched around feverishly but couldn't find an explanation, so I started tinkering and was able to set it up through trial and error.
Made a new mapped key "RR Assist" in Base Hotkeys by copying the existing "Assist Me" and set a different keybind.
Then I made a new mapped key in the WoW key map named "RR Assist me", and set the new "RR Assist" in Base Hotkeys to call this mapped key instead of the regular one.
The RR Assist me's target is set to "Group (others in): Mages", with round robin enabled.
Works like a charm!
Now I can set targets for each mage individually pre-pull, and sheep those targets all at once.
EDIT:
I am now trying to add another macro to the actions list in the new RR Assist Me key map, so that each mage would also mark their target.
EDIT #2:
Got the marking to work too, but with a workaround. Adding a new WoW macro to the action list didn't work (no marking happens in game, despite the RR assist still working), so I just subsituted that with sending a keystroke action to all the mages in round-robin fashion, and set a macro for each of the mages (+ binding it to the keystroke I'm sending)
/script SetRaidTarget("target",1);
with '1' being different on each of the mages so they all have their own mark.
