Default SSSSS - 5 Shamans - Best way to level?

Hi all - currently have 5x shamans, and just waiting to spec. How do people typically level? I'm thinking either 5x elemental or 4x enhancement/1x resto.

I'm in RFC at lvl 14 and it's a bit tough.

Typical solo Shaman leveling is Enhancement to 39/40 then either keep going as Enhance or re-spec into Elemental once you have Lightning Mastery available.

How are you planning on leveling? Just remember that without a Mage in group doing Elemental from any level is going to be water intensive, and as a result probably quite expensive. A melee team with a healer I imagine would work quite well from level 30 onward which is when you pick up Windfury Weapon.

I'm trying to go 4x enhancement and 1x resto for now - I think it'll work? Team comps are a bit weird for me as I'm not quite sure which are better.

I did level 5x shamans to 60 - Elemental - solo'd plenty of dungeons. Enter dungeons at mid level. So if RFC is at level 12? try 16ish... IT makes everything easier.

I think it depends heavily how you want to level and what multibox style you like more, ranged casting or melee.
    Both have their advantages.

If you are new to multiboxing, then I don't recommend melee multiboxing.
Ranged is easier to play, but you have downtime to drink. (If you play longer sessions, try to get water from a mage).

Melee have the advantage that you have zero downtime, only healer mana stops you.
With lev 37 you can wear Ravager and enchant it with crusader / fiery weapon if its not your first team or you can loan some gold.

When I did mine back in the day, I leveled as 5x enhancement. I can't recall when I switched to elemental but I think it was mid-50s. I might have kept them enhancement until I switched to a hunter team. I know I made them elemental permanently once the talent rework (in BC?) went live and they got pets.

I just completed this group and am currently farming endgame dungeons (cleared all 5 mans). I found one resto, four enhanc to work really well. Around BRD is when I dedicated a single enhanc to be tank, equipped a shield and have him use rockbiter and earthshock while the others use frost shock and WF. He holds things surprisingly well tbh. It was probably one of my fav comps to level. I’ve done a priest and 4 warlocks and pally/feral/3 rogues up to 60 for comparison. I’m slowly gearing them out for ele but continuing to run as enhanc is really relaxing atm. You have so much utility, all the buffs in the world and many battle rezzes!
