    Default New Team? MWP?

Hello fellow Multiboxers! and Happy Easter! - My 5x shamans are doing great!

I'd love to stick with 5 accounts, but i can go up to 8 max. Which is odd number!

I have 4 mages at level 36, one at 43. Total of 5.

Been thinking for a while to start new Team and would love to have a mix of Mages, Priest, Warlocks.

1 priest 4 mages is a really good combo, but i'm missing the lock.

    What do you guys think?

    1x priest
    2x warlocks
    2x mages.

    1x priest
    3x mages
    1x warlock

The benefit of priest and 4 mages is you can literally bounce around the place spamming arcane explosion and holy nova as you move, with the lock you have to stand still to aoe with a channeled aoe which can suffer knock back and silence/spell lock...

personally I had great fun leveling 4 locks and 1 priest and it was relatively fast as well..
1-10 is literally just putting CoA on everything as you run around doing random quests 4 coa and one SwP kills most mobs before they leash back to where ever you pulled them from.
11-13 is literally standing in one spot in a hyper spawn spamming corruption and CoA on everything that moves with your void walkers set to aggressive. You don’t need to turn and face with the locks as dots don’t need to face, and just keep life tapping and renewing them all.
14-20 was spent running around hyper spawns with your now instant corruption and CoA on everyone

once you hit 20 you get holy nova and then it’s time to hit the instances...

honestly the most enjoyable box I leveled from 1-20 for any comp. it’s just easy and super fast and no stress. Plus it’s really really and I mean really funny when someone comes to gank you and in two GCD’s they’ve basically got 9 dots on them... it’s super funny watching them trying to dispel themselves if they can.. while you just keep putting them back. And if they ignore them they’re dead in 5 ticks. So you are pretty much gank proof for the most part.

so I would roll 4 locks or 4mages as their play styles in instances don’t really match up that well

Happy Easter to you and gratz on the Shaman team. Not 100% sure what you are looking for and/or what the goals are with/for your next team so I will respond as best I can.

If I understand correctly you currently have 5 accounts active with something like:
    5 Shaman (60,60,60,60,60)
    5 Mages (43,36,36,36,36)

If you are staying with 5 accounts I don't see the point of having multiple mages on the same account unless you are just keeping them there for passive crafting cooldowns at 35 and if I were doing that I likely would do Warlocks for that instead as they can be parked at various places (including moonwells and summon folk for mats and crafting proceeds and what not).

With that in mind, if you just want a team for efficient farming, you could do LLLLP to 35 and then take your level 36 MMMM to cap with the 35 P (MMMMP). Alternatively if you think you want to have a Tank option at cap you could go WLLLP to 35 and then take WMMMP to cap if you want and then later power-level the 43 Mage to cap to have both MMMMP and WMMMP options (which is what I would likely do). This should leave you with 5 accounts as follows:

    -1---2---3---4---5-
    S60-S60-S60-S60-S60
    W60-M60-M60-M60-P60
    M60-L35-L35-L35-M36
& likely various level 1s with your locks for summoning...

You mentioned above that you wanted at least one Warlock and if level 35 isn't high enough you could sub out 1 Mage above for 1 Warlock and still have lots of good options (and later power level another mage if wanted)... That or if you really prefer Warlocks go ahead and just take the LLLLP or WLLLP team to cap...

If you are thinking of moving to 8 accounts my assumption is that you would be doing that for farming raids (at least the trash) and I would think you would want at least 1 tank (and maybe 1 Warlock as you mentioned). Starting with the end in mind & only initially leveling up 5 characters from 1-60 you could try to end up with something like:

    S60-S60-S60-M60-M60-L60-P60-W60
    -1---2---3---4---5---6---7---8-
    S60-S60-S60-S60-S60
    ------------L35-L35-L60-P60-W60
    M43-M36-M36-M60-M60

In the above mix you can later power level some of the mages to swap out the Shaman if you want... The downside of the above approach is that you will always have to login the Lock, Priest, & Warrior if any 8man team you run unless you level up more alts on that account...

Alternatively if you want to have max a max ignite option and/or max flexibilty with your hybrid Shaman (being able to heal and/or DPS and/or face tank with them) you could do something initially like WPMMM to initially get the following 8man:

    W60-P60-S60-S60-S60-M60-M60-M60
    -1---2---3---4---5---6---7---8-
    S60-S60-S60-S60-S60
    W60-P60-------------M60-M60-M60
    M43-M36-M36-M36-M36

Overtime after that can power level more mages resulting in various increased DPS options like:

    W60-P60-S60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60
W60-S60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60 (try Shaman healing & DPS when you can)
    S60-S60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60 (try Shaman face tanking & DPS/heal)

Unfortunately that doesn't include having a Warlock and if you really want a Warlock you can sub him for one of the mages though if you do include a Warrior, Warlock, & Priest you will have to always include one when you have 8 characters on which would be one less mage in an ignite stack...

Bottom line is you have many options and I hope that is ample food for thought and helps you...

because we dont know what your maingoal with your new team is, I would suggest following options

    WMMLP
    MMMMP

For mooncloth farming lev 35 is enough and you can also add alchemy for trasnmute timer, but has a high investment before you even get your investment (time and gold) back. - If your main concern isn't gold and you have more fun leveling to lev35 instead of farming gold, it's a good way to make some extra money, if not better invest the time to farm gold instead of level to lev35.

For stagionary herbalism farming rogue or hunter would be a better option.
    Mainteam - Level 60
    Warrior / Mage / Mage / Warlock / Shaman

    2nd Team - Level 25
    Druid / Rogue / Rogue / Rogue / Druid

    3rd Team - Level 16
    Shaman / Hunter / Hunter / Hunter / Hunter

Decided to stick with MMMMP - Since my mage is 44 and other ones are 36s. Bringing Priest up as I type this, boosting priest pretty much.

BTW for MMMM - What spec are you guys for your priest?--- Disc?

Check out the other post with a guide. Has a good leveling, gear, and talent path.
