Default Sale! Battle For Azeroth 50% Off

Battle for Azeroth is currently 50% off.

The banner on the shop states that it's only on sale until April 12th, but a 3-day sale seems a bit short, so... /shrug

BFA will be merged into the base package the moment that the Shadowlands 9.0 pre-patch is live.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Looks like the WoW complete edition is still a fairly equal (or better) value if you're planning to keep any new accounts into Shadowlands, but this might be nice for us if we just want to experiment with more toons prior to that.

Do you think it’s worth buying for all accounts or just wait till you’ve farmed the gold?

i just started multi-boxing - my main goal is to pay for shadowlands / monthly sub for 5 accounts all through gold.
Currently doing transmog runs... it makes gold but so slow., not sure if upgrading to bfa would allow me to farm more effiecntly to make it worth it?

idealistically I’d like to get to a point where I can pay for subs and then some extra for upgrades by only farming 1-2 hours avg per day.

Does it include a character boost?

it does. Originally I wasn’t going to buy any expansion till shadowlands and use this time to farm transmog items with my 110 team / legacy raids while farming herbs on my main. My goal has always been to get to a point where I can pay for all accounts sub and upgrade via gold.

but in order to get the money in a timely manner I have to farm a lot.. almost 5 hours a day. (Averaging about 1-2k per hour while I build up my transmog inventory).

Not sure if having bfa would substantially lower that farming requirement. Want to get to a point where I can make 300k per week just farming for 1-2 hours per day.

The gold emissary in BFA gives 2k per character. So if you have multiple teams and need gold that's a no-brainer.

Though I feel like it's worth mentioning Ion says that emissaries are going away in Shadowlands. I don't think they'll be replaced so maybe the gold rewards on dailies will go up or maybe not. We're not sure what world questing is going to be yet. Mission tables will be back in Shadowlands though.
