Happy Easter to you and gratz on the Shaman team. Not 100% sure what you are looking for and/or what the goals are with/for your next team so I will respond as best I can.

If I understand correctly you currently have 5 accounts active with something like:
    5 Shaman (60,60,60,60,60)
    5 Mages (43,36,36,36,36)

If you are staying with 5 accounts I don't see the point of having multiple mages on the same account unless you are just keeping them there for passive crafting cooldowns at 35 and if I were doing that I likely would do Warlocks for that instead as they can be parked at various places (including moonwells and summon folk for mats and crafting proceeds and what not).

With that in mind, if you just want a team for efficient farming, you could do LLLLP to 35 and then take your level 36 MMMM to cap with the 35 P (MMMMP). Alternatively if you think you want to have a Tank option at cap you could go WLLLP to 35 and then take WMMMP to cap if you want and then later power-level the 43 Mage to cap to have both MMMMP and WMMMP options (which is what I would likely do). This should leave you with 5 accounts as follows:

    -1---2---3---4---5-
    S60-S60-S60-S60-S60
    W60-M60-M60-M60-P60
    M60-L35-L35-L35-M36
& likely various level 1s with your locks for summoning...

You mentioned above that you wanted at least one Warlock and if level 35 isn't high enough you could sub out 1 Mage above for 1 Warlock and still have lots of good options (and later power level another mage if wanted)... That or if you really prefer Warlocks go ahead and just take the LLLLP or WLLLP team to cap...

If you are thinking of moving to 8 accounts my assumption is that you would be doing that for farming raids (at least the trash) and I would think you would want at least 1 tank (and maybe 1 Warlock as you mentioned). Starting with the end in mind & only initially leveling up 5 characters from 1-60 you could try to end up with something like:

    S60-S60-S60-M60-M60-L60-P60-W60
    -1---2---3---4---5---6---7---8-
    S60-S60-S60-S60-S60
    ------------L35-L35-L60-P60-W60
    M43-M36-M36-M60-M60

In the above mix you can later power level some of the mages to swap out the Shaman if you want... The downside of the above approach is that you will always have to login the Lock, Priest, & Warrior if any 8man team you run unless you level up more alts on that account...

Alternatively if you want to have max a max ignite option and/or max flexibilty with your hybrid Shaman (being able to heal and/or DPS and/or face tank with them) you could do something initially like WPMMM to initially get the following 8man:

    W60-P60-S60-S60-S60-M60-M60-M60
    -1---2---3---4---5---6---7---8-
    S60-S60-S60-S60-S60
    W60-P60-------------M60-M60-M60
    M43-M36-M36-M36-M36

Overtime after that can power level more mages resulting in various increased DPS options like:

    W60-P60-S60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60
W60-S60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60 (try Shaman healing & DPS when you can)
    S60-S60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60-M60 (try Shaman face tanking & DPS/heal)

Unfortunately that doesn't include having a Warlock and if you really want a Warlock you can sub him for one of the mages though if you do include a Warrior, Warlock, & Priest you will have to always include one when you have 8 characters on which would be one less mage in an ignite stack...

Bottom line is you have many options and I hope that is ample food for thought and helps you...
