My characters are at 425-435, with my tank and healer unfortunately being the lower ilvl of my group. Trying to get a gauge of what ilvl people are compared to the ilvl of items that drop in the instance they're doing. I'm finding if I'm not at the same ilvl or higher, I have a hard time, which kind of defeats the point of doing the dungeon since upgrades are minimal.
Also, what are some of the easier mythics I should maybe focus on as low hanging fruit? I assume the dungeon list of difficulty posted online doesn't really apply as much to us as it does solo players.
Last week I entered mythic dungeons for the first time. I did alright. I went through Freehold without too many issues, and same with Waycrest Manor. I entered Atal'Dazar but got stumped by the priest, got frustrated and left. I struggled my way through Shrine, got 3 bosses after a lot of effort. I think I spent 4k on repairs. By the time I got to the last boss of Shrine, I gave it a couple attempts, quickly realized it probably wasn't going to happen. I didn't attempt any M+. I had Freehold, Shrine, Mechagon, and Waycrestx2. I should have gone back and tried Freehold + 2 but I ran out of time for the week.
My two big issues I've identified are that my tank, healer, and 1 dps have outdated (380 ilvl) weapons. In general my tank is probably too squishy. I also need to improve my setup and strategy/approaches to issues in general but it's been an iterative process and will continue to improve with time. Shrine was actually a great learning experience last night. I don't intimately know these fights like I probably would if I had been playing all expansion.
