My first try on ramps i got squished bad with VW tanking. But that was mostly due to way more rum than any evening should contain. Second night i ran through and trash was easy. First boss was cake. Second boss took two tries, and i never killed third boss (dragon and other dude). I really think if i had a second lock, instead of 3 mages i would have been ok. Just outland instances things can go to hell real fast and it's hard to cope with all cloth when you don't have a second tank. If you don't have a heal class in the group i would think that would make things alot harder. But it could maybe work. As an all cloth group (for now) i have learned i have limits. That's why once i get to 70 i'll be rolling a palli alt on one of my mage accounts. One day he will step in to do my tanking. I can't really speak much on the viability of other groups, since this is my first try 5 boxing. But, good luck!!
