Really need help with group comp and few other questions

I have read just about every thread on 2 sites about group comp (this and isboxer) and really most info relevant to my play style is from few years ago... and as I am sure in this game, much has changed. So need to ask again.

I am a very experienced boxer (EQ2 and EQ). Boxed 24 in EQ2 and 36 in EQ and did raid stuff that other ppl said can't be done. NMever once used a bot... that was part of the fun is spending days figuring out how to kill raid targets by myself and developing starts etc.

Over the last 12 years I have played WoW maybe a total of 20 hours. I ran a box crew like 9 years ago and then just couldn't get into it and went back to EQ2.

I am committed to stick with WoW now and level a 5 team first, and then potentially build a raid force if it is possible down the road.

So my questions are this and please understand I am still REALLY new to WoW but I am a very skilled mult-boxer:

1. I haven't seen any posts in forum, but are there people successfully raiding with their own crew? And if so, how many toons do you need to do some raid instances? Or are there far too many mechanics involved to be able to solo multibox raid instances?

2. I need advice on current state of game for the best 5 man group to be able to do the most end game stuff and get the most dungeons. Don't really care about gold farming or PvP. Just simply PvE and getting the best loot for my team(s) and being able to do the most end game and see the most of the game. I have read a lot of posts that running the trinity (Tank/Heal/Ranged DPSX3)) is too hard at later level dungeons and just to go with like 5 Prot Pallys or 5 BM Hunters or whatever..... I get that it may be a littler harder, but for an experienced boxer is it really? I also get 5 of one class is basically pushing like 3 buttons or whatever and trinity would be a lot more....but with all the addons and macros, is it really that hard to do end game stuff with a trinity comp -vs- an all 5 comp?

3. I never really used any add-ons so this is all new to me.... but if you could suggest a few MUST HAVES for add-ons in the beginning for me to help me along the way I would appreciate it.

4. When I did solo I played a Rogue and actually really enjoyed it. I have never seen like Tank/Heals/3XRogues or even 5 rogues. Would this be possible? I get that they need positioning but are there add-ons or macros that can do it?

As I said, I am committed to running WoW and doing it successfully as I have EQ and EQ2 for 10+ years. If a 5 same class team is just hands down better than a trinity then so be it...I don't want to get super discouraged once I max level and not be able to do fun stuff and then quit the game.
