3 Setups have been "proven" to work in PvE content up to Heroics and Kara.

5 Shaman (massive dps without being squishy)
    1 Pally / 4 Shaman (massive dps /w tank)
1 Warrior, 1 Priest, 3 Mages (lots of CC)

There are other groups that I'm sure will work, but these are "tried and true" right now.
LOL that's kinda funny cuz that was the 3 exact set-ups that I was planning on trying when I started multiboxing w/o ever really researching what everyone else was doing. Lately I've been wondering how well a prot pally, 3x locks, 1 holy/sanct aura pally would do. Spam the crap outta SoCorrupt, locks could heal themselves with Drain life, and sanct aura is an immense boost to prot pally aggro w/o sacrificing any needed healing abilites on the holy pally. Prot pallly should never lose aggro which would mean the holy pally could more or less just heal the prot paladin.

Im running a lvl32 prot pali, holy priest, 3 x lock group atm and i got to say it levels a damn site faster than my 4 shaman 1 prot pali did, here's why...

    1) Hellfire + AOe healing!!! - dropping 12 even con elites in 1 channel of hellfire rocks!
    2) no down time on single target killing. locks never need mana or heals.
    3) check out improved lifedrain talent - 4% more dmg to lifedrain per aflic spell on target upto a max of 60% which you can do at 50. thats sick damage. I use siphon life, COA, corruption then lifedrain thats 48% extra dmg to lifedrain.
    4) CC - Ive got loads of crowd control options, seduce, banish, shackle undead. 3 fears, 4 pbaoe fears, 1 undead fear. though tbh since i got hellfire I havnt used any lol
    5) dispoable tanks just incase u cant CC somthing

My only issue at lvl32 is the locks pulling ago, hellfire does that high damage its hard to keep the mobs on the pali but thats probably down to the size of pulls Ive been doing I have to start the DPs quick of the pali dies.

You can add Prot Pally/Holy Priest/Balance Druid/Fire Mage/Elemental Shaman to the list.

Pretty much anything involving a tank, healer, and 3 ranged DPS will work. I prefer multiclass groups, just to be able to play with the synergy.
