If they are out of auto shoot range they will turn to face, run to max distance and start to auto shoot. If they are already in auto shoot range they will pull out their melee weapons and look silly doing nothing.. my advise is simple... drive from your healer at all times. Bind one key to drop follow before any pull in an instance... then you can run around them with your healer and turn them using follow and taking one step forward. You will find though that 95% of the time it’s your healer will rip agro not a hunter so I stand 10 -15 yards in front of my hunters and drop totems there, grace of air, strength of earth and healing stream... I know it only ticks for a small amount but your actively healing 4 pets... that way if your healer does rip agro none of the mobs run into your dead zone of the hunters, until I figured this out it was quite the rage fest. After that... no problems at all. It also means you can feign death on your hunters if it does go south and only your healer has to run... also... when farming instances... SM cath is painful for you, your better off running the back door of Uldaman on repeat to get the two bosses on the left, the ones that drop the gun and the pole arm. Also ZF is super fun and easy for you because it’s packs of three mobs at a time, you can just auto shoot them all to death with one pet/mob and leave your fourth pet as a sweeper to pick up any runners. And you don’t have to pull them away from other groups that will also agro. No down time for drinking what so ever. Aspect of the pack on one hunter and hawk on the other three means it’s super fast around as well... gl and have fun. It’s not the super fastest group but it’s none stop
