Default Leveling advice for my 2 x teams

I have designs on a 10 man raid crew for classic. Leveled in three batches to 20 via powerlevelling from my main level 60 and now transitioning to run them as independent groups from here (my main is a Resto Druid and its a pain to have to level in 3 groups to get the 2 x 5 man teams up).

My problem is now I'm running WC with both teams (WSMMP & MMMDW) and while I can clear stuff the adds are annoying as hell and my XP/hour is tanking big time. Under 8k/hour. I'm not sure if my gear is just trash from being largely RFC stuff but it seems like a real bottleneck. I'm tempted to just go grind on mobs for a while till I can go to SFK or BFD and maybe it will pickup there?

Wondering what advice you pros out there might have?

What sort of /played time is reasonable for a 5 man multibox to 60?

Getting from 20-30 is a big hump if you're leveling through dungeons.

I'd just cannibalize one of the teams to run MMMMP and focus on getting a mage to 60. Then use that mage to boost the other 5 characters. MMMMP is extremely easy to play -> you can get away with just spamming AE / nova until you want to start trying 8+ mob pulls.

You could also raid the dungeons too lmao. You'd probably maintain the same xp/hr. The only works up to BRD though iirc.

My WWWWS team took me 10 days played to get 60. This was with me learning everything from scratch / playing poorly. My MMMMP team is on track to get 60 in 3-4 days played.

Yea, let me know if you try out raiding low level dungeons.

I'm tempted to make another 2x MMMMP to try and make the core of a 15man ZG tiger boss farm group. I'd level that way if its only ~2-3x slower than leveling as 5.

Yea its really not worth it for a raid. On my team a lvl 19 dungeon elite gives 86 experience non-rested in my 5 man team. It gives 17 experience non rested in my 10 man. That's 5 times less. The base experience falls (61 in 5 man, versus 34 in 10 man), but you get a group bonus of 25 in the 5 man, but a raid penalty of 17 (50%) in 10 man. The extra speed with pulls just doesn't seem to offset the difference between the two in my testing which is a shame.

Maybe in later dungeons. Will have to test again then. Another thing is raid experience seems to be really dodgy for regular mobs. Often times I will kill 2 or 3 and get 0 experience, then start again. Generally single digits for anything yellow. They really nerfed 10 man experience hard which means really the only option is leveling two 5 man teams separately it seems.

Wailing Caverns really has made me want to quit this project altogether but holding out hope that SFK or BFD will be a better experience for my two teams.
