My 57 WWWWS group has about 170g each after buying their level 40 mounts. My 34 MMMMP group has about 15g each so far. I disenchanted all my greens on the warrior group up through about level 30 to level my enchanter and then just vendored everything for gold. Not doing any tradeskills on the casters yet, though I'm saving my cloth for additional tailors. I'm also extremely casual/lazy. I am also not grinding dungeons as I get bored pretty quickly. I'll run an instance usually about 5x at most to cover not having to do the more odious collection quests in a zone. (Uldaman is an exception due to the way quests in there are structured.)

It took me like 3 months to get going and about another 3 months to decide to retire my WWWWS team. Made about 5k profit after epic mounts / engineering 4x / BoE gear. MMMMPr is just a lot more fluid/fun, and I would have made well over 5x what my warrior team did if I spent the same time and effort on them in the beginning. Spilled milk though...

I wouldn't be surprised if users like Quiding / Peregrine were well over 10-20k+ by now if they're still consistently playing. They had fully geared 60 teams running by the second month.

Ehhhh, well I had pretty much the same path as you except the engineering part, I bought my WWWWS items and epic mounts, grinded a few more k's and started my MMMMP team and have farmed quite abit on that, but now there are 2 teams of "Multibotters" on my server grinding Stratholme most likely 14-16hours aday and dumping prices on auction house, so after getting up to about 12k I decided to stop for a while and just level other characters since it messes with my income so much with these botters. ( Try /who Stratholme and see if there are any Druid+Priest+MMM teams there )

I installed TSM abit into Classic




Crafting/buying x5 Lionheart helm, x4 Arcanite Reapers, x5 Devilsaur Sets and other BoE's definitely set me back.

My team is level 46 and I have 680 gold total. About 136 gold each just from running dungeons, no questing post level 20.

Classic gold cap is 214,748 gold 36 silver 48 copper per character. I have a ways to go.

If it helps, you can make about 100g/hour just fishing with a team of level 10+ characters.

Playing the auction house a little bit and farming with a few lucky drops - bread and butter has been stratholme though.

I have 5M team - made mistake with no priest :-/ but farming strat quite long, so I have like 1000 orbs and other things, I am spending all my golds into material, because of inflaction, I dont think Ill be able to sell all my orbs and dont destroy prices... overall if I count market prices I am around 80k golds, but who knows the discount of fast monetization (mby -20%)

I have around 2K on my WMMMP team. But I only have a couple hours a night to play, which generally means one Strat run. I think my orb rate is probably 1.25 per run. Orbs usually sell for 40g or so. Many times I wish I had a MMMMP team for farming Strat, but a Warrior makes killing Bal trivial (even if his loot is generally crap). With another mage, I might be able to kill Canon Master, which I have never been able to do with my current team. I am still on poverty mounts as I decide who I really want to main.

I do have a bunch of librams I am saving and I got a lucky Ace of Elements when doing my crystal water quest (sells for 500g but I want the trinket). Other than that, most blue BOE and purple BOE stuff doesn't sell at all, so I like to keep them for my collection. The exception is twink gear, I sold Shadowfang for 150g which funded my mounts at 40.
