Hotkeynet only matches the characters you give it and ignores the rest of the window name when messing with windows. So likely you had wow1, wow10, wow11. When you tried to move wow1, HKN couldn't know which one exactly you wanted.

Making all your windows be two digits should also work. wow01, wow02, ...., wow09, wow10, wow11, wow12.
