    Loving those changes I see!!
    This week's Rank 12 cloak is gonna be awesome with that stat proc on the cloak. 1.25 proc per minute we're looking at a 30% or better uptime on that thing.

    I intended to use my last vessel to get more masks, but after beating the first boss realized I could go further. Had I known it would of gone this smooth I should of went for a full clear using the hardest mask (You have 50% sanity)! but I 4 chested it and was super happy with the result. I also got an easier mask in the process. So my goal this week is to full clear Org with a mask.
    I'm also talking in it.. hopefully it sounds ok - still working out the setup.

    With the weekly reset switching over to Org. I did a full run with no masks for a full clear.
    Things to note. Upgrading to rank 12 now should be a massive increase in dps across the board from reports I am reading on the wow forums. Additionally even getting to rank 11 you have 65% sanity resistance which is also a huge game changer and opens up the doors for this not just being the optimal group comp.

    On this run I had what felt like an excessive amount of extra sanity at the end of the run which has me excited for the rest of the week when I start adding masks! The madness affix I had never experienced yet (causes you to run in fear, is definitely an avoidable mechanic and is "doable" for our setup. The only side issue and you can see in my clip is that the fear causes you to run into situations where you get stuck on objects or in an area you can't get out of. Luckily both times it happened on my run, I got re-feared out of the stuck location.

    Sorry to spam this further. I wanted to go over the Madness affixes and give my rankings on how difficult they are for our community. Once I try out more of the masks this week I'll give a ranking of those too.

    The Twisted areas:
    This is the initial zone you start in and these are all not too big of an issue:
    Desynchronized (easy): Either a slow or a haste, make sure if your main has the haste that you don't lose your followers when navigating as some of them will be slowed.
    Bloodthirsty (easy): This is an aoe damage move that will also hurt your team, it doesn't do enough damage to spread it out apart - to maximize it's potential try to be in melee range to also hit mobs with it.
    Promised Power(easy): I had ignored this one for a while but didn't realize if you don't touch it. You get hit with a 10% damage debuff. So if you noticed your dps is close this may be worth going out of the way for.

    Corrupted Areas:
    Entomophobia(easy/medium): On a mobile team this is a non issue, on a non mobile team it starts to hurt your DPS. At 5 stacks if you don't jump your character starts running. It's not the worst thing in the world if this happens but try to jump by stack #4.
    Dark Delusions(easy): image of yourself will walk to you slowly and stun you, you can't see if your teammates have one on them to my knowledge - it's a 4 second stun and I've just mainly ignored it so far as trying to keep up with it for the net gain didn't seem worth it.
    Scorched Feet(medium/hard): This is the worst of the bunch, absolutely brutal for our setup. It doesn't really do too much damage to you, but the spawns are all over the place. For a group setting they really need to reduce the size of the pools like they did with the faceless mask that does similar effects.

    Lost Areas:
    Split Personality(hard): Probably the most annoying/difficult one of the bunch. My current tactic is to literally turn into a tank and pull to my spot while trying not to move much. The affix goes off very frequently and the disorient causes your characters to look in all directions, causes you to hit /follow or IWT to get them back on track. On top of all of this, you can only see your characters mechanic, the rest is hidden.
    Leaden Foot(easy): I really like this affix, it's extremely annoying potentially for an all melee comp but for ranged it's very manageable. When doing mechanics try to move as little as possible.
    Haunting Shadows(medium): I was very concerned with this affix, but after experiencing it I dropped the difficulty. There is a big blue swirly on the ground that the entire group can see. Make sure you move your team out - they also seem to trigger at the same time as others. Getting feared is rough but it's a short duration fear.


    With only 2 of them being considered hard, most weeks should be ok. When adding the double Affix mask though - going to need to come up with strategies to mitigate as much as possible.

    Conclusion as well, when you max out your cloak at rank 15. The sanity drain reduction is 80% which should allow for additional room to get us clears.

    So I thought the masks were going to be hard but I didn't realize how hard!
    I was able to do a full clear with 1 Mask (Dark Imagination) and it went overall pretty smooth. I would say this is potentially the easiest mask of the bunch.

    I then added what I thought would be the second easiest mask (Burned Bridge) but it could potentially be one of the hardest after seeing how it operates.
    It spawns pools under your feet when you move. The big problem I found was even if you move your followers in unison out of the path of your main and try to setup shop. You'll end up getting a pool under the entire group from one of the followers somehow. So what ended up happening the entire run was I literally have to be moving the whole time. The only way I was able to break this craziness was to mount up on the group mount and then when I got to a spot - dismount and they were ok for that brief moment.
    With all of that said. I think a 2 mask with this one included is doable. There were plenty of mistakes on my run and trying to figure everything out. I wiped on Thrall at 13%! (ran out of sanity) and if you watch the video of this, his entire room is just filled to the brim with all kinds of crap. It's one giant hodge podge of goop everywhere!

    Once I get some more practice we should see better results. For now I'm going to try a different set to 2 mask using the 400% more sanity damage. This means mechanics have to be played better but at least I can form my team and get some heals off.
    If/When I get the 2 mask down, I'll probably add the double madness affix depending on how it looks per week.

    out of everything.. the trick of putting down the orb and pulling a bunch of mobs to it is my fav..i thought combat would stop the sanity regin! But the buffs are sweet as well!

    So Scorched earth is back on the menu this week and wooo boy is it ridiculous. I think I'm changing the difficulty of that one to medium -high as it scatters your team constantly unless you stand still, but if you add more difficulty you can't stand still.
    I ran 3 1x mask runs last night to upgrade my cloak to rank 14 on my main team and was overall finishing very fast but even with that noted a 2 mask completion still feels like an uphill battle that is doable but complications are high.
    My thoughts are the +400% sanity damage drain should be the next easiest or the double affix would be depending on the week.

    so i've got my team (prot pally, 2x ele shaman, 1x discipine prist, 1x arcane mage) and @ ilvl 430.. tried 2x visions and died horribly...
    is my gear lvl not enough?

    It’s very dependent on your cloak rank. The first few ranks you just want to head straight to the boss and finish it to rank up.
    it starts off at 25% sanity reduction and at max rank 15 it’s 80% so you’re able to stay in the vision a lot longer. Additionally the ranks you upgrade with moments help even further to a drastic amount.
    so don’t be discourage too much.
