Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to do 12 multibox on FFXIV and I've been constantly crashing non-stop. Was hoping to get some help from here.
Here are my PC specs
Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
Memory - 64GB
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 5700
Games are placed in SSDs.
I've been monitoring all the GPU/VRam/Ram/CPU Utility%. Both RAM, GPU and CPU Utility % are pretty low. VRam Utility is almost maxed out though at 8176mb.
The crashes I've received are mostly directX errors or the entire PC just crashing into black screen, with the PC still running but unable to interact in any way.
The error reports I've been receiving looks mainly like these.
Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent
Code: 141
Parameter 1: ffffaa838a656050
Parameter 2: fffff806567309f0
Parameter 3: 0
Parameter 4: 3b44
OS version: 10_0_18363
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1
OS Version: 10.0.18363.2.0.0.768.101
Locale ID: 1033
I'm a weebit miffed on what to do and honestly have no clue if this new PC i've bought has faulty parts or is my PC too weak to run 12 FFXIV clients on lowest settings. If it is too weak, which parts should I upgrade in order to run 12 and if possible, up to 16-24 clients.
I've also read that its generally recommended to have at least 1 CPU core per client, is this true? If so, is the issue actually on the number of my CPU cores (6+12 i believe) even though its utility % is really low?
Do appreciate all the help folks, thanks.
