    Question BFA Multi boxing team

So after like few years.. i got bored and decided to come back and multibox wow again.. learning curve was still ok..

I used to box 1 paladin, 1 mage, 2 ele shaman, 1 resto shaman.

Is that combi still good tho?

Tried with paladin 3 hunter and healer and that was fun too..
Then later on someone did a 5 arcane mage and i tried for awhile..

With all the changes now, what would be a balanced and fun team? Tho im still leaning towards paladin, ele shaman, mage, resto shaman..

It really depends on what you're hoping to achieve. Basically anything is viable for casual play but if you, for example , wish to push mythic+ dungeons then a traditional trinity comp is currently favored especially ones with Hunter DPS due to their mobility.

For now i want to get enough to get wow tokens to sustain my account.. lol.. then consider the more challenging aspects.. ive heard for quite awhile that shamans are nerf-ed and not as good for mboxing..

If farming is the only criteria then just about anything will work (generally speaking) since the requirements are basically non-existent. That isn't to say some classes would not outperform others in this context, but just doing it is viable on just about any comp. Generally speaking druid is the go-to class for farmers due to flight and travel form, stealth and high sustainable damage from just spamming dots and instant cast spells. Hunter is another one you see fairly regularly I guess...

I'm not renewing on Wow tokens because I don't play enough, just doing regular sub but there seems to be some boxers who are able to farm quite well and can do it just fine. With 5 char your looking at making 1 mil gold a month to sustain which seems like a lot of work.
My favorite relaxing thing was to farm herbs but the prices on them aren't that great from where they used to be.
If you mix up herb/mining or similar, then do some 4x4 farming (this is finding a hyper spawn location and just slaying everything in sight while pretty much standing still), some transmog runs and just playing the auction house I think it's doable but you have to factor in time spent here as well.

I'd say I'm not the best at making gold in this game though since I have quite a few lvl 120's and don't capitalize on it at all.

Best time to make gold to pay for tokens is at the beginning of an expansion. Tokens are the cheapest at the start, they are the most expensive towards the end of an expansion. Herbs and mining make so much at the beginning of an expansion that you could fund your play time between expansions in the first two months of release.

There are also players who will buy tokens now 200k/$20 and hold onto the gold until the start of the next expansion when the gold per token drops by half, tokens were 90k at the start of bfa for example. You only save a couple bucks a month per account though, but you can pick an choose when you want to play if say one month you dont want to play.
A player would probably have to invest $500 now though. If a player invested $500 now and token price dropped by half at the start of the next expansion you are looking at $10 per month for 10 months purchased game time per account. Not exactly huge savings, but some savings none the less.

Otherwise, purchasing game time on ebay and other sites is the cheapest.

I was using tokens to cover subs and even 10/15 BFA expansion purchases, but now I really really just CBA with it. I hate farming more than I hate having to pay the old fashioned way. It's doable and plenty of people do it, but it does take time, and that is a much more of a limiting factor for many of us. I'd much rather spend what limited play time I get nowadays doing something more fun.

For passive side income i prefere to have seperate accounts on my older laptop, which is running live scans using the tsm addon. Ive had to tweak the settings a bit, so everytime now i hear a loud "cashiiing!" sound i quickly scroll the mousewheel within said gamewindow to snipe good deals. Then just repost my grabs at the end if my gamingsession for higher. The gold quickly ads up.

I also play 20+ characters and also farm latest heroic/myhthic raid trash on my own, the gold from the boe's adds up.

    I just updated my pcs. 5mans = amd 3900x, 10 mans = amd Threadripper 3960X. /living the dream, "stable 60 fps front / 30 fps back".

What is your comp for trash farming raids? 5 man or 10 man?
