How do you approach World PVP as a multiboxer?

Just curious how everyone else handles PVP, specifically ganking individual solo players with a 3-5 box team.

Maybe I'm weird, but ... Even though I play on a PVP server, I'm always in such a rush to gain experience, I never start a fight unprovoked. It's not really exciting or rewarding for me to gank individuals because I know I'll basically one-shot them. I've even been known to assist the opposing faction by killing NPCs that are about to kill the player.

I can think of only two occasions where WPVP was fun as a boxer:
A 40 rogue tried to kill my 34 Pally + Warr team when I was questing in STV. He killed the warrior, then I killed him with my pally and rezzed the warrior.
A 5 man group (ranged 29-42) tried to kill my 3 Lock + Priest + Pally (lv 35 ish) team in Alterac. They killed 1 warlock, but then died from all my DoTs. My priest rezzed, they had to run back.

Of course, I regularly get ganked by 60s, which is SoP for a PVP server. But I don't figure I can do much about that til I'm higher level.

So it got me thinking: What have your experiences been? Do you find fun in one-shotting individuals? Do you seek out other groups to fight against (maybe by dungeons)? Just ignore it entirely until max level?

I used to only attack when provoked, but ever since phase 2 created so much chaos and any sense of respect flew out the window for wpvp, if it's red it's dead. Nobody puts baby in a corner.


On retail, these days i dont fight unless provoked. There are exceptions such as characters i have a past history with, and guilds who are known to roam in packs or camp fp's and kill everything in sight. Antorus was a really nasty time for wpvp on emerald dream, havent really had anything like it since, everyone is busy doing something or just phases out to avoid it all. Just the small skirmish here and there and after the first wipe nobody sticks around.

I used to never attack at first but since P2, i discovered the hate from a lot of PvP players toward multiboxers and they really annoyed me (it is a weak word). I was not lvl60, no trinket, just a victim and sometimes i had to quit the game for one hour because they just camp me. Go to BRD was a fucking nightmare that i endured everydays.

If you don't kill a player alone because you think you are too nice, he will call his friends and kill you by surprise later. Because nobody like multiboxers (mostly in JcJ servers).

Now. Outside, it is red, it is dead. I will not be naive anymore


I have a personal code that i'm trying to follow :
I don't kill players if they are not level 60 unless they try to kill someone of my faction
I don't kill players if they are doing a hard quest
I don't kill players in towns unless they try to kill someone of my faction



But, sometimes, the dark side in me takes over. I smash the button and say " rofl, did i really do this, poor guy ". It rarely happens.
