Targeting Delays

Hey guys,

Whenever I switch mobs too quickly with my main, my other chars will keep attacking my old target for 1 GCD. So I typically switch targets and pause for half a second, then start spamming my DPS macro. This kind of becomes troublesome in PvP when the normal habit is to press all the buttons fast, but I'm guessing this is just an issue with latency and communication from the server to my main, and to the server and my other chars? Would adding /cleartarget in a dps macro somehow help maybe?
