Howdy Unseen and welcome to the forums!

i generally advise people to roll new characters... so their skill as a multi-boxer grows as they level up. this allows you to fit new powers into your keyboard plan as you go... increasing your familiarity with it.. making it almost 2nd nature.

starting off with 70s would put you at a disadvantage as the stuff you'd be up against would not be very tolerant of someone fumbling around with their setup.

This has been my experience as well, and I'm only dealing with a single 70 trying to boost the other characters. Rolling new characters allows you to pick things up as you go. Only having one or two abilities right off the bat lets you know how to plan encounters and what problems your setup needs to address before continuing. Using 70s right off the bat would be so overwhelming I can't imagine trying to sort something out. Also, many MBers like to roll multiple groups for various reasons (mostly the fun factor) and starting new characters once will make you better at it a second time since you have more experience dealing with multiboxing.
