But I still wanna solo dungeons for infinite gold so I was thinking that maybe if i replace the warrior with another mage and go MMMMP my leveling process would be easier and faster? Is this true?
Curious about this as well. I'm currently deep fire on my 3 60 Mages, which is likely not the optimal spec. I switched to it in SM and made it to 60, but now at max level my damage doesn't seem as good as it could be. Have been doing okay in DM East but I'm thinking of switching to either the Shatter + Blastwave build or maybe just trying Arcane Power/Frost? Respecs are spendy so I'd like to make the right decision and hear what's working for others!

I think that arcane/shatter is the best build and Blast Wave shatter is the easiest build because you do not need to pull huge packs to make it efficient, as long as you nuke 2 packs, drink and pull another 2 every 45 seconds you are good to go, and this works well in open world if you like questing.

If you keep dying switch over to Blast Wave because elite mobs literally die in seconds

I'm still not sure about whether to swap out my warrior or not. So far (level 32) he doesn't do very much.

My worry about skipping bosses is that most of the good gear drops from bosses, so the team would be behind on gear - is that a fair assessment?

Having leveled MMMMP and WWWWP I'm heavily considering WMMMP as my next team.

4 mages was a lot faster overall with a lot more down time. 4 warriors was pretty slow but very steady until around 36 when it speeds up and gets really fun hacking slashing and spinning through packs.

With 4 mages the biggest limitation was how much I could pull before taking too much damage. I'd generally gather 6-10 mobs, AE, drink. I could have handled and healed through much larger packs if I was able to pull them all at the same time.

That's why I'm considering adding a warrior for the next round. My hopes are that the DPS I lose from 1 mage can be made up for by pulling larger packs with the warrior. But I am not an experienced tank, and am concerned that the warrior may not be able to tank well enough for what I want to do, especially in the 20-35 range before he has much gear.
I'm worried while gathering up large packs (of 10+ greens) he will be too squishy and require too much healing resulting in the priest pulling agro.
I'm curious if anyone has experience with this at the lower levels.
It's my understanding that Demo Shout is probably the best thing to spam to hold AoE agro once you're tanking 5+ mobs. I'd like to really push the limits on how much I can pull.

Disclaimer: I'm not as interested in endgame content/make up, and I enjoy the leveling process through dungeon grinding

At lower levels the warrior will not hold aggro at all, due to the huge threat from the AOE. My tank is basically just a puller and maybe holds aggro on one mob.

This changes later on when your pulls get smaller though.
