Best 4 mages arcane/fire mage spec?

I started a mage team recently to see how they compare to my warlocks. I'm liking the elemental spec for leveling. A lot of mage boxing videos people just run around spamming arcane explosion/holy nova and often barely surviving on their mages. With elemental you can control mobs and have huge AE burst with frost nova, flame strike into cone of cold which puts a huge ignite stack on all of the mobs plus a 60% snare that lasts long enough for ignite to wear off, at which point you can frost nova again and repeat. If you do it right you can take almost no damage aside from casters/ranged mobs.

The AP/Pyro spec would definitely be superior for bursting down bosses though. I may respec at 60 when I start farming end game dungeons and the bosses are hard enough to require that level of burst.

I'd go 2 into arcane first, then frost until shatter. Then fire until improved flamestrike and fill out the rest of frost.

28 So far, I only started them this week. It's hard to make a fair comparison since my warlocks are pretty well geared and 60. I get the feeling so far that the mages are easier to manage at low-mid levels and the warlocks have an easier time clearing end-game dungeons due to being able to straight tank mobs with soul link. Even at low level, a couple of bosses gave me trouble with the mages that were super easy having voidwalker tanks.

In PvP they both have their strengths. The AE burst damage of mages if you get swarmed by a couple of melee is really nice but the warlocks have a much easier time at range with the instant DoT's that you can cast without having to face target. Pretty much what you'd expect.
