Help for new PC to Multiboxing ( wow )
Greetings!
I wanted to know your recommendation to upgrade my pc to make my multiboxing smoother.
I currently have 8 WoW accounts running with:
Intel Core i7-4790 3.60GHz
Nvidia gtx780 ti
16GB Ram ( 4 x Kingston 4GB DDR3 )
(and ofc , 256 ssd with OS and WoW client)
I can currently run all 8 clients (hardly already) , and I wanted for Black Friday to change my PC for one that was at least decent, and maybe to upgrade from 8 to 16 accounts?
I hope your help and recommendation
Thanks and best regards
(Sorry if my english is not good )

How the hell are you running 8 clients on 4gb ram?
-
I forgot to put "x4" , have 16gb ram ( 4 x Ram Kingston 4GB DDR3)
-
Ahh even so I'd go about upgrading that RAM, the recommended amount of ram is 2GB minimum per client so you're pushing it even with your current setup. I'd go for 40GB for 16 clients, I also don't see a 4 core cpu being able to support 16 clients and anyone I know who runs 10+ clients runs at least SLI 1080s but I'm not sure if that's necessary.

What kind of budget are we talking about... resolution? Preferred fps? Need more to work with here....
If you truly want a pleasant experience that last a long time, get the amd 2990WX 32core cpu, 128gb ram, AMD Radeon VII 16GB gpu, Intel 660p 2TB M.2 SSD.
I wouldnt go any lower for a stable 16man. Assign 2 cores per game. Its a major headache to play with low fps, and with the commitment to play 16... you will regret getting a inferior system.
Remember, if you get a motherboard that has 2 x 8pin power cableinputs, that your powersupply support that, not that many do.
And get a quality 3 x 12cm or better cpu aio cooler.
If money is really tight... you can go for a lesser amd cpu, the 24 core 2970WX... or the 16 core 2950X... but get the 32 core if you can.
*apparently, later in nov 2019, the new amd cpu come out. There are new 16 and 32 cores, which offer a bit more performance. Though, with wows engine, as long as you ideally have 2 cores per game, at around 4gz, it will be nice. Doesnt need to be a new cpu, as you may know, if you assign 2 cores to 1 game on your old current cpu, it plays good.

My budget is about 2000 - 3000 euros, FPS and resolution I really don't need much, about 30 fps in the slaves and 45-60 in the main me well, most of the time farm in grinding spot.
I have been more or less looking at my budget (2000 - 3000) and had thought something like this:
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte X399 AORUS Pro
RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB 2x8GB CL16 (x2 = 32gb, but maybe go to 64)
Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB (upgrade to one much better maybe ..)
Graphic: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 OC 6GB GDDR6
with this i think can run my 8accs actually, 16 accs maybe need more, idk
What do you think?

I ran a 10 man with this for ages. Fps was what you wanted, ish, had main on 60, but it was 30+, and slaves on 20. I7 5930K, 6 core/12threads, 64gb ram, nvidia 980ti 6gb vram.
If it was up to me, a much better cpu, motherboard and ram, is what you want. Bfa made the game harder to run. So if 6 core/12threads is a little subpar for 10 now, i would atleast double it for some better smoothnes.
So in short, for your kind of fps, it will be a great upgrade, get the 16core, 64gb ram and the 2060. If you want to 16 box, get something like the radeon vii 16gb vram gpu instead, if you can find one. If you can stretch the budget / change parts, getting the 24core amd will last you more years and more fps.
Try using pcpartpicker.com to test different setups before you buy. Choose your country in the upper right corner to get prices for where you live.

Perfect, I'll take a look, thank you so much for the help

Correction, get atleast a 1070, its whats on parish with the 980ti. For 10man. I would try get the slightly better 1070 ti or a 2070 though. Ofc get a even better one if you can.
For a 5man with 1080p with all on low, then a 1060 6gb vram is enough for a "farming pc".
