AHK, I hate you so

Anyone who uses AHK ever notice it COMPLETELY HOSING your keyboard input?

About once every couple weeks, I will be playing, and suddenly when I press / on my keyboard, é will appear. And if I hold shift and press / (to produce ?) GUESS WHAT.... É appears!

So at this point I can no longer use my / to open the chat bar. I also can no longer Pause and Resume my AHK script efficiently (as I pause it with /, while <enter> is a toggle). There are a few other keys that screw up, but that is the major one. I'd like to note this is not a driver issue, as this change is only present in the copy of WoW that is happens in. When typing on my alts, the symbols will be the way they should be.

Some other AHK anomolies:
It will think you are holding down SHIFT when you are not.
It will not allow you to use your SHIFT key until reloaded.
When using the Cursor keys for Alt movement, it will occasionally prevent one key from doing its job, or all keys from doing their job.
It will lock out a random key (rare). I noticed for a while my Tab targetted was not working at all, when it obviously should have been.

Anyways, I'm still considering alternatives. Just wondering if anyone else experiences this and has a solution.

That's never happened to me, not even once. Are you sure it's not a script bug? Also, what version are you using? I'm on 1.0.47.05.

Never seen those problems either and I have my cursor keys bound to move alts. AHK is very stable for me.

I get a similar issue sometimes because I accidentally hit the key shortcut to change the language setting on the keyboard. I use KeyClone, it is not a problem with the program I am or you are using if you find that is what you've done too.

Used Octopus to level my latest 70 team and never saw anything like this.
