1-20 is such a struggle (alliance)

Now that I'm at 20, deadmines is much easier to run. I'll run it a few more times then head to Ashenvale, then down to Barrens/ratchet and run some Wailing Caverns for more nostalgia/skinning.

From there on I shouldn't need to quest, or at least pick up any collection quests. Instance grinding bliss from now on

I totally forgot that Consecration is a talent and not a skill you learn. I am already in protection and got BoK, so it'll be 11 more levels until consecration.

Respecing once or twice isn't too expensive. I am not sure if/when the respec fees reset to lower cost but regardless it is an option to not have to wait 11 levels...

On the Dungeons tab I recommend folk consider farming the 2nd hyperspawn or the mine area outside of DM to 20+ before actually going into DM. You can also just farm up to the first boss in DM but, since you will be doing that enough once you hit 20+ anyway, why not farm the Hyperspawn or the mine area outside the dungeon (unless you are contested)?

The respecc price goes 5 gold down per month and can go down to max 15g.

So once your respec prices go past 15g the lowest it can ever go down to going forward is 15g?

I remembered mine got really high at one point and that they went down over time and were cheaper later but didn't remember them never going below 15g (I guess that is better than nothing but still kinda sucks).

hmm if someone is there before you on an elite/mini boss quest kill, why don’t you help them? i do that all the time, tell them to tag and i help kill, no group/raid needed

Getting to 18-ish as Alliance was probably the worst part of the whole leveling experience for me. Horde have it easy with RFC in their main city at 14-ish. Those 4 extra levels of getting to DM is awful.

I was remembering that if your group does more than 50% of the damage that you can steal the kill but maybe now that I think about it that may be from a different MMO.

That's Everquest... possibly other games but I dont know, I've only really ever played Everquest and WoW over the past 20 years.
