Default Duo box vs 5-man box

If one were to need 2 or more extra characters for future gold making and just need those extra characters to be 60 ASAP.
What would be the fastest way to do this?

In short, can you reach 60 on all characters faster as 5-man box or as 2-man box. (Need alteast 2 extra 60's but dont mind getting 3 more if it means its faster).

4 mages + 1 priest is currently the fastest setup. Can get to 60 in less than a week if you know what you're doing.

I assume this is with AoE dungeon farming. I am familiar with AoE grind but have never multiboxed before. I have thought of this but figured duo questing with a druid and hunter would be around the same speed

There is no way questing is the same speed as 4 mages grinding dungeons, i'm afraid. I also wish questing was more multibox friendly but I can assure you it is not, from my personal experience. (leveled 10 shamans to level 37 purely by questing)

That is correct. Last Thursday I made 4x mage disc and atm I am lv 53 ( last 2 days been chill mode). That should tell you the speed of leveling using that setup (5 days 4 hours played or similiar atm).

Nothing trumps this setup apart perhaps paladin/3xmage/disc. Also, I'd recommend grinding last 8 levels in dugeons and leaving quests for completion upon reaching 60 so you can get massive gold. 1 quest usually gives you 15g-20g but I've had one quest where i got 70g (with item rewards as well). So you can see how lucrative that can be.

Yes after reading alot on this forum this seems to be the case. How does it actually work to make 5 accounts, do I have to keep track of 5 diffrent emails or can i create 5 subscriptions within my main account? Also, for classic you just pay subtime so its like 5*$12 + isboxer?

So if you were strictly pve you would throw a paladin into the mix?

So quests that can be turned in at 52+ can be turned in at 60 and give you more gold if you wait till level 60?

I don't know for sure, but for me personally and how I play, the more characters I have to lug around the slower I go. If I were to skip all collection quests, maybe that would be a diffetent story, but my OCD makes me have to complete whatever I start.

The fastest I ever went was when I dualboxed a Priest and a Mage to level 9 or so in 2 hrs doing the Dwarf starter zone. So maybe that's the perfect balance of speeding up kills, but not slowing quests down.

I enjoy just playing the game personally. I have zero desire to speed run it. I grind instances when I want and quest at other times. This all takes place along with just doing silly multibox shit like amusing gawkers and open world pvp against higher leveled players. Nothing more satisfying than sending 5 hunter pets to gnaw down someone 5 or 6 levels higher while you just /lol.
