Warriors are "ok" at boosting. Mages and Warlocks are probably the two best boosting classes by far.

The basic way to do it, is to invite your alts into group with your high level, and run dungeons. As Tsazao said, you want a full group, so invite randoms to fill the group out. The group XP you get is going to account for about 30% of the total xp you get per mob kill.

I started boosting some mages last night in deadmines at level 10, I'm using a warrior so it's not as good as a mage or lock would be. However, my level 10 mages were getting 14xp for level 18 non elites, and 36ish xp for level 18 elites. Consider that chain killing level 10's with 5 level 10 mages, was around 20-25xp per kill. Now consider that my warrior could do packs of 20ish mobs comfortably in deadmines. At level 10 with no deaths (forgot about the patrols that spawn after bosses die!) I was probably getting my mages 10-15k an hour with a warrior. A mage or warlock could easily manage much more than that. Also keep in mind, that as the mages gain levels, they are going to get more xp per kill up to around level 16 or 17. Which means the xp/hr will only increase until the mobs turn yellow.

Thanks everyone for the input! I had no idea that grouping a 60 with lowbies could still be somewhat viable just by virtue of volume alone.
Question: if the lowbs are still getting xp from the kills even when the 60 is doing the killing, is there any reason to start with the lowest level dungeons and progress through them? ie why start in deadmines rather than just run your lvl 10s to say SM and start farming that?
