So I brought this team out (Ro,Dr,Dr,Pr,Pr) for a solid session due to letting my main team sit and gather rested XP for a ZF run spamming session I'm planning this weekend. Level 12 @ about 10 hrs played, with knocking out the whole 1st round of quests on the NE starter island. Could be a lot faster if I skipped collection quests and didn't take my time thoroughly reading quest logs, but I always complete the starter zones fully for RP purposes.

I have Sinister Strike binded to 2 main buttons, one with Moonfire and SWP, and the other with Wrath and Smite, for a Dot and a Nuke button. I can kill green mobs with one click of my Dot button if I make sure to land Sinister Strike, but higher level mobs die to slow and do to much damage, so I need to hit them with my Nuke button. Regardless everything's dying with one cast most of the time. The ability to click once and forget makes this team very fun. I can only imagine how fast things are going to die once I get some INT and SP.

The remoteness of the NE zone garners alot of unwanted attention, as everyone likes to follow me around and say something, especially when I'm the only other person in the area, but I'm used to it by now. Especially when I don't need to loot anything and go on a killing spree wiping out half the zone.

My plan is to finish Tel'dressil, do the kill and fed ex quests in Dark Shore, and do the same in Elwynn, Red Ridge, and Westfall, then grind the at the windmill spot until I'm comfortable to go to DM. Hopefully 15 for the outside, 16 for up to the first boss. Gonna roll with a Rogue tank, 2 Balance, and 2 Shadow Priest, and nuke stuff down 1 at a time.

Thanks for update as lots of us have interest in teams with stealth components. Particularly interested in how viable you find dodge tanking and how viable having no dedicated healer will be. I am not sure the overhead of shadow priests doing heals and or balance druids doing heals (if you mean boomkin when you stay Balance)... If you end up having issues with that I would likely look at going Heart of the Wild on 1 druid so he/she can be more flexible.

Regardless it will be interesting to hear how things go and which specs you try and like (and why).

O yea when I say balance I just mean a caster Druid instead of melee, I'm sure I'll pick some resto talents and lean at least one Druid, or Priest, or maybe both, more towards healing. I'm gonna see how far I can take the team as 5 dps tho, and if it's not as easy I think it will be I will adjust my team accordingly.

Having my main team of a Pal,Pr, 3 Mages be mind numbingly boring and easy, Im looking towards the challenge. Loading the Rogue up with Stamina, then pre-shielding, pre-dotting, and using those 10-15 secs to run around CC'ing, and gaining aggro seems like it could be fun. I hopefully have enough DPS to be able to take on packs of 3, with one Cc'd, one Dotted, and one as my Nuke target. In the first part of DM, with most of the mobs non elite, this should work if I pull carefully and take out the Evokers first.

OK good to know and keep us updated. You can also farm outside DM in that cave as there are mixes of non-Elite and Elite mobs and a good amount of quests to complete outside the dungeon before actually going in.

Glad to hear that Paladin+Priest+3mages being easy as that is the reason I recommend most people start with a group like that (though I generally recommend to have at least 1 Warlock and 1 Mage if a first group on a server). I think it is good to start there & then branch into less standard compositions like you are doing. If I recall correctly your semi stealth team is motivating me to consider a sudo stealth team in the future (thinking 2 Druids, 1 Rogue, & 2 Night Elf Hunters with Prowling cats for me) so I would like to keep up with your progress.
