Small Freezes

So just to update everyone, in case they have a similar issue. I tried updating EMA and that seemed like it worked, for a bit but then it started the mini freezing again. I waited until it was really bad and disabled EMA and boom, no more freezing so it looks like that was the issue. Going to look into the post above about adjusting some of the settings and try to get it running.

I updated ema and still saw it, for me I opened task manager and saw the cpu spike to 100% every time the freezes would happen so mine is likely a cpu issues. I have a new build coming on Friday thankfully. I’ll see if it persists on a new machine with fresh os.

If my search-fu is correct the following is where the freezing discussion started and back and forth on setting changes and the fix:

I would double check that you indeed have EMA Classic and not regular EMA installed as the Twitch client was messing that up for a time.

Edit: Found workaround which is to disable two 'Item Use' options: 'Automatically add Quest Items to Bar' and 'Automatically add Satchel Items to Bar'. Then the issue does not occur.

This worked 100%. I made sure I was using EMA classic but disable these items and I've played for several hours with no issues at all.

I can't thank you guys enough. The frustration level was getting high.

I was having this same issue but sometimes only after hours of playing. The issue was world of Warcraft voice proxy. Disabling that in the task manager seemed to fix it.
