I'm currently up to improved AE on my mages but I'm wondering whether getting improved CS for even easier pulling of ranged mobs is worth it? If not I guess ill spec into fire to help with boss single target.

I didn't go for imp cs as the mobs will always come to you if you cs them on cast. But if you feel that it will make it easier for you,then by all means go for it. For pve and pvp specc, I'll go with with imp cs 100%.
