Mage specs

Yes still full frost spec. Level 29 now. Cleared BFD until 27 now working on RFK until 32-33. Maxed out shatter talent which is really nice. So far have not had any issues. When mobs are 1 level below mine i can gather a couple packs and aoe them down with arc explosion which does make clearing a bit faster. Wish i had more time to play, certainly interested to see if this can be done in end dungeons. All good thus far though!

Got to level 30 and went to SM: Graveyard. Was able to pull packs of 5-8 mobs and aoe down. Went fairly quick as i am now lvl 32 and working on SM: Library. New rank of frost bolt makes quick work of these 34-36 elites. As of now team is still very strong with frost spec.

Going down the frost line myself with my 2xPally 3xMage team. Probably going to respec today as the 3/3 imp blizzard spec I went with isn't working out very well. In hindsight I'm not doing much kiting at this point so it sounds like I might be better off going with Arcane Explosion and maybe even picking up blastwave. Kiting logistics are a challenge for me with multiboxing, but I suppose some veterans may be better at using Blizzard on round robin and rotating Frost Novas, etc. In stocks my tank is getting punished before I can burn down and I'm having major threat issues. He's well geared but being all Frost with no threat mitigation isn't working out very well Luckily we get Salv at 26!

Interested to hear how other specs are working out and where I might be able to put my points to avoid the high costs of respeccing a whole team!

So, I could use some help with a proper mage spec for 4 mages and 1 priest.
Arcane subtlety is a given, but the rest. Go frost or continue down the arcane tree?
The mages are lvl 28 and take quite a beating at times. Would it help going for frost bite in order to make the kiting a little less punishing? Also, Ice Barrier is pretty tempting in the future.

Please help a lad out

Wondering the same thing; currently struggling with 4 raptors at a time in WC at level 19

Currently lvl 36 and aoeing down 6-10 mobs at a time. Mostly limited on how many i can pull before i get stunned/dazed.

If i had a good way to pull more I'm sure i could find a way to kill them.

So far still very good team. No limitations. Also very fun to 1 tap alliance outside SM as well. Managed to poly 4 people and take them all down without taking any damage(they weren't afk!!)

I do miss my warriors though. Both teams have their perks

I have 2 speced frost and one fire. My fire mage hits alot harder in single target but he is also the first one oom. But like someone else said 90% of my damage is from AE. I feel it kills way faster than blizzard even with having to drink so much longer. I speced improved blizzard but am thinking of changing to respec full arcane with just a little in frost.
