Default Currently planning my 10 man team.

    Hey guys,

So I currently have a lvl 37 Protection Warrior tank, lvl 37 MM hunter, level 37 Fire mage, level 37 Affliction warlock, level 37 Holy/Discipline priest, level 37 Balance druid, level 37 Elemental shaman, and one level 34 Shadow priest and two level 33 Destruction warlocks.

I'm wondering if I should swap the Shadow priest and 2 Destruction warlocks with 3 more mages. The idea was to have as many buffs as possible for Shadow damage-based spellcasters in addition to the regeneration from the shaman's totems. But now I'm thinking that just having a lot of Fire mages would be better.

    What do you guys think?

i'd definitely swap the spriest. The shadow debuff is too small unless you have 5+ locks. Warlocks are fine if you prefer them, but one lock for curse of elements (or even none unless you like the utility) and the rest mages is optimal, another reason to drop the spriest.

Looks like you're also running with 1 healer. Is that enough? I'd probably be too scared and go without at least 2. Maybe resto shaman instead of Ele, but you're almost 40 and might have better insight as to why i'm just a scaredy-cat.

I am thinking of going the other way and mainly having Warlocks+Pets with a Priest & maybe a single Mage.

You are right, the shadow damage and the mana regen from Vampiric Embrace are probably not worth it. I'd be better with 1 lock and 4 mages. And if I want to stick to the SP, then I need at the very least 4 Warlocks, if not more.

As for the healing, I am fully prepared to switch my Shaman to Restoration later if I feel like I need more healing. Mana Tide totem is great and would greatly help my Boomkin sustain its mana pool.

Are the Druid and the Hunter really worth it or would it be better to have more Mages (or Locks)?
