I'm new with some questions

I've read a few stickies but I don't know if some of the addons can do what I'm hoping to do.

I'm trying to multi-box on WoW-Classic. I'm going to be using a Rogue (My main account) and a Holy Paladin (My alt). Currently I JUST started leveling my new character, so I have some time to work things out before I will have to use them both simultaneously.

I have a gaming mouse, so I'm hoping to utilize that as much as possible. What I'm looking for (and again, don't know if this is possible):

I just want to press SHIFT and have anything I press after that activate in my alts window. For example, mouse wheel scroll up is Sinister Strike. I want Mouse wheel Scroll up to be my Judgement button for my Paladin. So if I hit SHIFT+Mouse wheel scroll up, it'll just activate my Paladins Judgement ability while I'm in my Rogues window.

Currently I think something like this would satisfy my short term desires to do the things I want to do. It seems simple but I'm not sure if this is possible. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, I have no idea what I'm doing.

You'll need some form of multiboxing software. This is what we use to send keystrokes to all, or specified ones of our game clients. There are a number of solutions available, so how specifically you would achieve this is down to the software you end up using.

Personally I would recommend ISBoxer, if you are willing to pay for the software. No other options comes close to it in.

As far as free options, I've only used Hotkeynet myself, which still works as far as I know, although it requires some tweaks that are not documented on the site due to it being out of development and the game having changed slightly since. Autohotkey probably still works as well, but I have no personal experience with it.

So, start by looking at software solutions and go from there.

Use HotKeyNet. It's relative easy to configure and use. No need to pay for ISBoxer when you want some simple broadcasted actions sent to other clients.
